Lockdown is the new buzzword that has been misinterpreted to mean we are now free all of a sudden with plenty of time to pick up lots of new hobbies, learn lots of new skills, social media has gone crazy with throwing so many videos with ideas on what to do at home.

In reality, it has actually been a struggle to get 5mins of peace in the day to just reflect or breathe amongst work, children, cooking, essential shopping and maybe a stretch. However, although it may seem like we are doing more we are actually saving a heap of time too in travelling, school runs, multi-tasking on calls to cook or clean.

It all comes down to managing your time during the lockdown and means we really do have some self-care time.

For those who’ve managed to carve some time out of your busy schedule then crafting it is a great way to practice being away from the chaos of this lockdown, the worry of the unknown. Right now is the time to take up a hobby or reignite a previous hobby.
